Justin Engineri was born and raised in upstate New York. He enjoyed cooking early on, starting from cooking for family and friends.
As time went on his love of cooking matured and he embarked on his career as a chef. Justin is a graduate of
Culinary Arts 2001 of Johnson and Wales in Providence, RI. After a few career building jobs he found himself at The Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, Ma.
Soon after that an opportunity to become part of a brand new restaurant in Providence, RI became available…Justin jumped on board to become a
Sous Chef for a new seafood restaurant called Big Fish. Few years later Justin got married, relocated to Albany, NY and started working at Franklin’s Tower.
Very quickly he became the Executive Chef there and then, promoted to Corporate Executive Chef/Operational Manager when Franklin's Tower opened a sister restaurant called Pearl Street Public House.
Executive Chef Justin Engineri enjoys creating unique appetizing food focusing on New American, Asian, and Mediterranean flavors.
Justin's dishes have been featured in various magazines such as Capital Region Living Magazine, Dinnerwhere? Capital District and Capital Region Culinary Celebrations.
He was also featured on Television programs such as WYNT morning news, US Food Service Culinary Challenge and Tee Time.
Catering to private parties on and off site functions…Justin has a strict standard for high quality of food and is a strong believer in creating
a comfortable work environment so the staff will enjoy the food they serve, and ultimately the guest has a wonderful dining experience.
After 6 years of growing personally and professionally at Franklins Tower he started a new chapter in his life as the Executive Chef at
Siver Hills of Pinehaven Country Club. While at Siver Hills he received the award of Rising Star Chef of Albany and was featured at the Albany Wine
and Dine Festival where a record turnout attendees of 1000 plus guests. When not preparing exceptional meals, Justin enjoys creating new menus, playing guitar,
spending time with his wife, Villy and their two children Ayden who is five and Jalissa who is three. There is more to Chef Justin Engineri, and more to come in the future.
